Who are we?

The ANEVE – National Ex- European Volunteers’ Association is an association for youngsters, non-profit, formally created in October 2000. Was born from the will of a group of Portuguese young people that participated in the EVS project insert in the Youth Programme.

The idea began to transform it self in reality in a meeting that took place in Brussels, promoted by the European Commission, and the result was the creation of a structure that could give complementary advice and support to the ex-volunteers, helping them to know and share their experiences in the EVS, like it already happened in several other countries. And so ANEVE was born.

With the support of Instituto Português da Juventude (Portuguese Youth Institute), European Commission, the Portuguese National Agency for the Youth In Action Programme and Rota Jovem Association.
